The Thermal Power Station in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki produces thermal energy which is used for both heating and functional processes. The characteristic of the station's manufacturing activity is connected with the exploitation of wiring, for which obtaining an integrated permit is indispensable.
Description of the problem
The Board's directive from 24th of September 1996 96/61/WE relating to integrated prevention and limiting contamination called the IPPC directive, is the basis of the Stations operators duty to obtain an integrated permit. After transposing the recordings of this directive to the polish law by the act -The Law of Environmental Protection from 27th of April 2001(Dz. U. 2001.62.627 with later changes), the operators of wirings defined by the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment relating to wirings which could cause major contamination of particular elements of the environment or the environment as a whole are obliged under the threat of stopping the work of the installation, to obtain such a permit. The deadline for obtaining an integrated permit for wirings in the heating manufacturing, whose utilization began before 30.10.2005 was set for 30th of June 2006.
In connection with that the Station had to face a problem of preparing a proposal enabling them to obtain such a permit. The Process of preparing a proposal is tedious and requires a wide range of knowledge in many fields connected with the protection of the environment. In the first place it is very time-consuming which practically made it impossible for the Station's workers, which are obliged to do their duties in the first place, to take care of it. In this situation Ecosolution offered to prepare the proposal for obtaining the integrated permit along with carrying out the indispensable examinations and measurements.
